About This Game 16 years ago, the city of Newport Falls belonged to the criminal organization IMPERIO. The members of this group spread fear and terror and held the once picturesque Newport Falls in a stranglehold of organized crime. For a long time, the police had nothing to oppose this power and IMPERIO was free to do as it pleased. Until one day a wily police officer, John Croft, appeared on the scene. Together with his taskforce, he was able to put a stop to this syndicate's deeds bit by bit. But just before he could arrest the leader, he and his organization disappeared without trace. John Croft, the hero and father of a young boy was found dead a short time later. There were two bullets in his chest. But the case was never solved. IMPERIO disappeared and the city blossomed and developed magnificently.16 years later, there is no longer any sign of what had happened. IMPERIO has returned and flooded the urban area with its criminal activities. The unthinkable happens when the mayor puts on a large banquet to present his future strategy against organized crime, which has been on the rise for months. During the presentation, a shady man draws a weapon and shoots at the mayor. Bullets fly; glass shatters and panic breaks out everywhere. At first, all that can be seen is the mayor lying on the ground. Next to him, police chief Michael Reese, riddled with bullets. He saved the mayor's life and paid with his own. I read all the bad reviews but decided to give it a try, the first few hours I skipped all the tutorials and this is why it seemed buggy as the game events are quite specific. Having played this for many hours today, I'd be happy to recommend it. This games does have a few bugs but they are not as bad as the reviews sounded. This games is perfectly playable.. Really cool. Finally a good police game!. This game is really awesome, the type of game i've always wanted.It is well balanced and it's in the middle between emergency4 game ( too much micro management) and police simulator2 (absolutely on the contrary).Maybe the game could be improved with ability to freeze time and primarily the ability to modding the game (inert police cars from other countries for example)However this game is great and the developers have done a very good job.. nice games.many jobs to do with some confusing case...nice time killing. Pretty fun game. Had been hoping that they would open this up to modding but no suck luck. Still not a bad game though. The game itself is interesting and definitely playable - however, the small things start getting to you.Police do not dispatch themselves even when they are in the patrol area. I had several crime happen behind my units and they just drove on. There are also glitches where the units get stuck, can't be slected, and so on. Lastly, the units drive like madmen. The downside with this game is it's super repetitive. There isn't any select all function and so on.If you like micromanagement, this game is for you. If you don't want to get stuck with repetitive clicking and zipping around a map; don't buy this.. I never really do these but I feel that I need to. This game is just bad, its really hard to understand, and I could'nt find a way to select units without having to go to them, this coupled with the fact that you can't pause the game to take stock and manage things properly just makes this game hard and confusing. This game has a good concept, but the execution is just poor.. Pro- If you like these kind of games (by example the emergency series) you will also have some fun with this one. - Good thing the developers are still updating. - More resource management than comparable games. - Nice that there are american and german units Con- Kind of buggy: sometimes your units or patrolling routes get stuck (you can easily bypass this though).- I miss the accuracy of placing units (by example you cannot place cars on sidewalks). - Boring and cliche campaign.. Overall the game is fun to play for a few hours until the lack of map zoom and some of the irritating bugs collide together to create this very hectic and fast paced game that you end up screaming at the screen in frustration. All of the random callouts happening at once along with units having to be told to continue on thier patorl after they are done with a crime becomes more bothersome than fun. If you do enjoy this gerne of game I do recommend this title although I would wait for a Steam sale or heading over to greenmangaming and getting 25% off. The title has everything you want in a police focused rts game, and with the implementation of some future patches to fix the issues I've mentioned, the game can be great fun for few hours of play. If a sandbox mode is added to the title, you would have countless hours of gameplay.
