Like, I learned about this game on Instagram after communicating with some professional snowboards in comparison to SNOW. As a result, I purchased the game thinking it would have a realistic factor like snow; but more fluid to the game play dealing with tricks such as: spins, jibbing; flipping, and grabbing - TO WHICH IT DOES! However, in order to perform certain tricks, you simultaneously have to use (2) joysticks on a controller; to perform everything. Want to throw a nice backside cork 360? Guess what? Right before the jump you have to flick down (on the left joystick) and then flick right (on the right joystick) at the right time...TO MAXIMIZE SPIN AND TWEAK ROTATION. Mind you! If you want to throw a nice Indy or Stale Fish into your rotation, guess what? You have to incorporate some more complicated joystick trickery - which makes zero sense IMHO. That being said, if you want to have fun snowboarding with somewhat of an okay-realistic gaming experience, then play SNOW - as apparently the game is developing better and better after each patch release. Like don't get me wrong! This game feels great! But the complicated joystick incorporation forces me to tell you TO NOT BUY. P.S. Sorry Mark Carter, Zak Hale, and Frank April...but this games mechanics is f****ed bro lol.. Wow I gave this game a bad review at first beacause thought controls were ridiculous but after practicing tutorials I have u turned...THIS GAME IS TOTALLY AWESOME >>SERIOUSLYI am a snowboarder my self and I'm hooked as its so damn realistic and beautiful...Just one problem needs sorting...Grinding and boardslides are a total joke...its impossible , easier in real life lolShame as other games that is often a highlight, they just need to update the rail grindig by allowing some sort of rail assistance, just a small amount to help you get on it.If this gets sorted then I give 100% if not....80%. Great game, physics feel amazing. The campaign can be a bit tricky but it feels thus more rewarding completing something.. very good snowboard game. If you can snowboard in real life, the feeling you get while playing this game is nearly the same, as snowboarding on a mountain in real life. Pretty good♥♥♥♥♥♥right there. Buy it. It captures the same physics and feeling as if you were in the slope yourself. Once you've learned the controls, every trick you land is super rewarding. Just like in real life.It's a little glitchy here and there, and it's not very much content at the moment. But that's understandable since it's only a single(!!) guy who has been developing this by himself. I have a feeling that this game is only getting better.Well worth the money :). if you look for an authentic snowboardgame, this is it. no other snowboard game comes even close to this feeling of riding for me. its still under developing and needs a bit more polish and rail/box variatons, but it is already worth it for me. even a friend whos actually not that much of a gamer, but a boarder, was instant hooked. cant say anything about keyboard controlls, i would recommend a controller for games like this anyway.8 player lobby is a big + too.. My first impressions:- I purchased mainly based on the snow deformation, and I wasn't dissapointed. Excellent graphical interaction with the snow. The basic control seems fine, there's extra control on the right stick. Riding through the snow feels good. However, it does seem easy to fall over, which maybe me, but I've played most Snowboarding games to date. Falling over leads to an animation- or lack there of. The animation goes from upright to horizontal with no animation in-between!Playing through the story missions you get shown the buttons needed to perform a trick in a pop-up box, but unfortunately the button info is not shown for some tricks with the assumption that you would just use the one you used in the previous trick- fine if you continually play through to the end and not take a break.Overall for a few days play. Freeriding feels good until you witness the insta-horizontal animation. Menu looks like a few hours on Word. The developer got, at least for me, the first thing right- snow deformation.For the price £11.39 :- 6/10
